Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales made by Nafa Scale Co Ltd, 69 Avenue Ollier, Quatre Bornes, Mauritius (Tel 466 1946 / 428 2323, WhatsApp 5732 0528), online at nafascale.mu, by phone, WhatsApp or in our shop.

1. Orders

• An order is confirmed once we have accepted it and confirmed availability with you by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is out of stock, a price was displayed in error, or payment is not received. Any amount paid will be refunded in full.
• Business customers can request a quotation and a VAT invoice – please enter your company name and VAT/BRN number at checkout.

2. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Mauritian Rupees (Rs) and include 15% VAT.
• Payment is due before delivery or at collection, using the payment methods offered at checkout or in our shop.
• Products remain the property of Nafa Scale Co Ltd until paid in full.

3. Delivery and pickup

• Home delivery: Rs 150 anywhere in Mauritius. We will call you to arrange a delivery time.
• Pickup: free from our shop at 69 Avenue Ollier, Quatre Bornes (Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00, Sat 09:00–12:00).
• Please check your goods on delivery or collection and tell us immediately about any visible damage.
• Large equipment (platform scales, label scales) may require installation; we will advise you when you order.

4. Legal for trade

Each product page states whether a scale is legal for trade. Scales marked "Not legal for trade" must not be used to sell goods by weight to customers. The customer is responsible for using the right type of scale and for keeping legal-for-trade scales verified as required by law.

5. Programming and installation

Where we program PLUs, label formats or connect equipment to your POS, we do so based on the information you provide. Please check prices and product details on the first labels printed.

6. Warranty

• The warranty period is shown on each product page (usually 1 year, some models 2 years) and starts on the date of purchase. Keep your invoice as proof of purchase.
• The warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage from falls, overloading, water (for non-waterproof models), incorrect power supply, pests, opening or repair by third parties, or normal wear of batteries, labels and heating strips.
• Warranty repairs are carried out at our workshop in Quatre Bornes. On-site visits may be charged.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the price of the product concerned. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as loss of sales or data, to the extent allowed by Mauritian law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
